The Waking

The spring start sets date for the Waking. The pack returns to their summer living and celebrates the survival of the winter with playing. They had rested and preserved the energy the whole winter, now they can play. Games and a pack run is not rare as a tradition in the celebration, the mood gets somber when the first hunt for the year draws close.

History

Wolves have in all times executed this particular thing but it was not a real tradition or celebration, just a habit. Werewolves with the human ways wants to celebrate this and therefore has made it tradition.

Components and tools

The bigger prey that night the better as the first real hunt of the year when everyone can eat themselves full and the light is returning, the earth is waking.

Participants

The alpha pair leads the pack pack to their summer place and the whole game plays and runs, bursting with preserved energy. The pack hunters draws out on a hunt later that night.

In spring start, March - April. The first warm week.
