The god of Hunt and the Moon Goddess

The legend about how the God of Hunt and the Moon Goddess came to be is widely told around both the werewolf and the witch society. The Moon Goddess are especially important to the witches and the God of Hunt is very important amongst werewolves while the story may go untold among other species in Tyrelle.

Summary

The story begins with two Fae children, their families has just arrived and started exploring th eu touched earth of Tyrelle. The children come to love each other though the girl is already promised to another and therefore their love is forbidden.

Historical Basis

The story takes place in the time when Tyrelle was yet uncharted territory and the Fae had just started exploring and inhabiting the grounds, the first generation born here is the main characters in the story.

Spread

It was continued to be told to the ancestors of the God of Hunt and somewhere along the way a witch picked up on it and even the witches became aware of the story and its importance to their own kind.

Variations & Mutation

The child and the Fae people who banished the God of Hunt told the story till it was pieces together and evolved until it was something told to their children and so on.

Cultural Reception

In the witch’s retelling the focus is mainly on the Moon Goddess and her magical powers and emotions. In werewolf stories the God of Hunt and the time after his wife’s death and him fostering their children are more important.

Witches has a collected book with the whole story and another number of books with explanations about the legend.

In witch art the Moon Goddess is portrayed as a sorrowful and magical being. Amongst werewolves the God of Hunt is hunting and grieving.
