Dangers of the Deep

Despite men's impression that they lack intelligence, Channel Hunters live in vast cities deep in The Crack.

Primary Food Source

They hunt for food in the shallow waters of The Shattered Isles and along the coast of The Danjerie Marshes. While they will eat fish and other aquatic creatures, their favorite source of an easy meal is to capsize small boats. They have learned that most humans are entirely defenseless once they've been taken out of their hard, protective shells, and they can take their time picking them off one by one once the boat has been toppled.
