Tree of Life

Standing tall as largest landmark in Astea is the Tree of Life, a ginormous ironwood tree in midst of the brimming City of Astea. Nature Clerics and Druids find here respite and sanctuary and organize the regrowth of the ironwood forest on Astea.
The roots of this tree grow all throughout the city and follow the streets as if they on purpose avoid the buildings built next to them. It is a place of worship, a place of reverence in front of the obvious display of nature and is said to have a spark of Zeminna inside of it. The Tree of Life is considered to be a great blessing upon this island as it is by far the largest and oldest known tree inside the Regency and thus also symbol of the watcher as it is standing there... watching... for all eternity. Because his roots go all the way through the City of Astea they consider it his way of learning and knowing everything as they are literally everywhere and always present.
