Session 64 (26. 02. 2020)

Telum Veritas discussed the situation concerning Kim's mom and the best way to get her home as quickly as possible. She asked Obediah for his Babylon candle, and he eventually agreed to give it up. After a tearful goodbye and a promise to rejoin them as soon as she could, she disappeared. Morgyn messaged her a few minutes later, and confirmed that she had made it. Meanwhile, Lia consoled the old lizardman, and promised him once again that they would get him home.   The following morning, they took their air genasi friends to the meeting point that had been agreed upon. There, waiting for them, was Barius with some carts. After one last talk with Ralnor and Nuani, the fugitives were loaded up and taken away, and the party set out towards the home of Brock's dao master, Bulderunklekash.   Their day was uneventful. They eventually camped for the night, and discussed their plans for the meeting. Though they could ask for planeshift, that seemed unfeasible with the number of people they wanted to transport. However, Brock told them that his boss had teleportation circles all over the place. This opened up a new avenue for discussion: if they could make a deal to use one of them, Nyx could target it with the portal, and get everyone to the Material Plane.   In the meantime, Vincent and Isadora prepared a spell to invade Djaro's dreams. Isadora successfully did so, and found her adoptive brother in a dream that was more of a memory: working in a mine as a child. She told Djaro that he was in a dream, and the two of them had a tense discussion. Djaro actually appeared sympathetic to her cause, but showed her that his hands were fully encased in crystals. He told her that through the crystals, Oris could torture him and control him no matter how hard he tried to stay out of a fight. Isadora told him that they were going to kill Oris, and asked him to hold on just for a little time. Djaro replied that she should be cautious, because anything he knew, Oris knew too. She fled the dream, cursing.   After traveling for a few more hours, they arrived at a grand castle guarded by earth elementals. Brock got them in, and they were granted an audience with the dao. Bulderunklekash was not too happy with the galeb duhr after getting himself captured, but was grateful for the party's assistance in freeing him. Lia told him that they were going to do him another favour and remove one of his rivals. After some negotiation, he agreed to give them use of a teleportation circle in Banta Juergo in exchange for killing Oris. However, he warned them that the deal would be null and void if anyone discovered their identities. In exchange for their service in freeing Brock, Vincent was given a scroll of the teleportation circle spell for copying.   After a pleasant lunch, when everything was settled, they set out on their return journey to Banta Juergo.
