Session 44 (14. 08. 2019)

After the fight against the earth elementals, and Penrose's successful surgery, Telum Veritas spent the night on a different, uninhabited island. In the morning, they discovered that Ghant was gone. He left a message saying that after seeing the group in action, he was confident in their abilities and felt that his presence was only putting them in danger. He would find a place to lay low, and if need be, they could still contact him. They traveled to Velis Ren'see to try and find out more about the missing Sages, and potentially find Djaro's accomplice. Reaching the grand city and leaving their buffel at a stable, the party split up as Isadora couldn't take them with her to meet her contacts. Penrose, still under the effects of his surgery, headed to the Maiden's Breath inn at Lia's suggestion, with Morgyn to look after him. Kim joined them, so Vincent and Lia were left alone and took a tour to the Font of Thunder together. Meanwhile, the trio made it to the inn and encountered strange people there: two Thriae, members of the insectoid all-female race that inhabited Ellisan Velis. Vespa and Salai, as they introduced themselves, were amused by the foreigners, especially when Kim acquired a strange drink that made them all speak backwards. Eventually, they all agreed to visit a local market later, and the Thriae went to refresh themselves.
