Session 42 (10. 07. 2019)

The day after the successful test, Telum Veritas finally stood ready to depart for the Plane of Air. They opened the portal to coordinates reasonably close to Lia's location, which turned out to be above an uninhabited floating island. Once they had made it there, the next order of business was somehow letting Lia know where exactly they'd ended up. Lia and Ghant were en route to meet one of his friends who could hopefully help them, when Vincent's little courier elemental showed up with a sending stone and a message to "use it to find them". This stone had been modified by Nyx and could lead the way to the portal so long as it was open. However, the portal didn't have enough fuel to stay open long enough for Lia to get there. Thus, it was decided to map the island and send all the information they could gather over to her instead, in the hopes that she could find them based on that. The party settled in to wait under a very pink hut. Lia and Ghant soon arrived on the island where their contact was waiting: the earth genasi Isadora, who appeared to be investigating the matter of the magician Djaro, who had attacked the monastery. As it turned out, he had used matter from this very island to conjure his elemental servant, leaving a huge hole that unbalanced the island and left the village there devastated. Lia insisted on stopping by and offering assistance. However, they couldn't stay long. When the map and description arrived from Telum Veritas, Isadora was able to identify their location and the trio set out, Lia and Ghant flying, Isadora riding her flying carpet. In about an hour, they arrived, and Telum Veritas was finally reunited. The next problem was that of transportation for the four newcomers who couldn't fly. Isadora's carpet unfortunately couldn't carry them all, so the only viable option was buying a luftbuffel in Velis Ren'see - roughly three hours away. Ghant privately expressed his doubts to Lia about her friends accompanying them on this journey, fearing that being foreign to this world and unable to fly, they would only bring her down. Catching wind of this with his enhanced hearing and highly offended by that notion, Vincent blew up at him, then had to apologize after the nasty argument that ensued. Finally, it was decided that, as it could be dangerous for Ghant and Lia to go to Velis Ren'see, Isadora would go and buy a buffel, accompanied by an eager Penrose.
