Session 15 (14. 11. 2018)

Two weeks after the Spirefall, the Stanton family had moved in to take over the Regency. Vincent Stanton, charged with investigating what had happened on that fateful day, arranged a meeting with the ones who had brought the Spire down: Telum Veritas, as the party had become known. The meeting went reasonably well, and he joined the group to hunt Alistair Newmont down together so he could stand trial. He promised them an official pardon by his brother Damian, who had arrived in Highspire with him to take command of the Regency and bring order. The next day marked the funeral of Kantor Brade, Kim’s father. The party met Vince there, and he brought the pardons as promised. Kim attended with her mother, listening to the speech of her old rival, Yreka, who had taken command of the Shining Crest. After saying goodbye to Laura, the party wasted no time and left Highspire through Valerian’s house, arriving in Pickendale. As they were low on funds, they set out for Brenston on foot, the same way they had come in the opposing direction two weeks before. Along the way, night fell and they heard wolves, and someone who was clearly in trouble. Rushing to the scene, they found Viktor being attacked by a vicious pack of wolves. They made short work of the animals and Vincent healed him from the brink of death. It was quickly discovered that he was heading into the Wildlands as well, and his god seemed to have arranged this fateful meeting. With Viktor having joined, the group made camp.
