Session 1 (27. 06. 2018)

The Tempest, airship of the famous sky pirate Captain Drayfus, had docked in Highspire to buy supplies. Having successfully purchased some ablooneum cells (although not as many as they needed), the crew decided to return to the ship. However, all of a sudden, strange lightning storms began appearing all over Highspire, spitting out elemental beasts. The creatures randomly attacked everything and everyone around them, although they seemed drawn to bloo in particular. Finding the elevators overcrowded by panicked citizens, Chef and Morgyn took to the maintenance ladders on the outer wall of the main spire and got halfway up without incident. Meanwhile, Marcus took the opportunity for some looting and attacked a gnome shopkeeper, who almost shot him in self-defense. Kim managed to get him to safety. They soon met up with Chef and Morgyn and managed to get in an elevator, but one of the creatures followed them, attacking the crate of bloo Chef was carrying. Chef hit it with the crate, causing some of the containers inside to break. The group quickly killed the animal, and made it to the docks in one piece. There, they boarded the Tempest and left the city. As they were showing Captain Drayfuss what they’d managed to buy, the first mate, Argus, told them all about a plan he’d been brewing to raid a bloo pipeline. Since they were low on fuel, the captain reluctantly agreed to the risky proposition. On their way to the site, a new lightning storm suddenly formed above the ship, dropping a very confused Lia onto the deck. She quickly joined the crew and after the captain assured her that these pirates weren't out to harm innocents, she accompanied the strike team on the raid. As soon as they reached the pipeline inside a cave, Morgyn was attacked by a mysterious assailant, who shot him from the darkness. This was Braz, the drow ranger tasked with guarding the pipeline. A fight ensued, in the middle of which an ooze dropped onto Dagger from the ceiling. The two sides joined together to fight the thing, and managed to destroy it after a grueling battle.
