Matriarch of the Stantons

Magda Stanton is Vincents inspiration and reason for his love for books. The elderly matriarch of the house Stanton probably had to be a bard at some time before in her life, traveling the world as world singer because her way of telling stories makes you almost slip out of reality right into the depth of her voice and hearing her play the piano in the house or outside in the garden makes you quietly listen and mourn every time.
If shes not seen at a piano you can usually find her helping out the kitchen staff with cooking and preparing meals for the day to come.
The daily family business she gave away many years ago to her son and is very proud of everything he has accomplished so far.

Family Ties

The matriarch is the oldest living Stanton to date and mother of Victor Elsworth Stanton. In Vincents youth she was the one to tell him stories that calmed his mind so he was able to sleep soundly over the night, although his nightmares usually came back quite quick she was relentless in her way of finding a new captivating hook for him to listen to. She is also, though Vincent does not know this yet, the reason Master Ivan took him in as an apprentice for the art of divination.

Religious Views

Magda does not have any strong feelings towards one or the other religious following. She rather keeps to herself and watches from the outside while listening to the stories others tell of their adventures. She very much enjoyed writing her own stories in the past and still tells them to this day in perfect recollection to the kids if they so wish.

Social Aptitude

She is a confident woman with a kind soul that has seen the world and lets you know how small you can be. Her version of commanding a room is different from that of her only son and can only be described as silent takeover when she quietly starts playing in the house. In recent years her memory slowly starts to fade a little and the only way for her to keep up with the fast world is to read her stories and tell them again or play one of those old songs that make you almost cry.
