Hikashi

Scion of Light

One of the more prominent scions, representing revelation, justice and compassion. Born of the rare gentle emotions of the Sister of Summer, her priest and priestesses aid anyone who asks for their help, as long as they are truthful in their request.
Symbol is a sun, held in two hands, representing the gift of light Hikashi delivers unto all who deserve it. However, she stills hold some of her mother's fury and as such it is considered a grave wrongdoing to lie to a priest of Hikashi. The truth shall always prevail and will eventually set you free.

Church/Followers

Her temples are grand buildings that allow for light in every corner. As long as the sun is up, the building will be illuminated with next to no shadow. Elaborate constructions that reflect the light even allow it to reach deep inside the building where it normally wont.
Inside the Sovereign Regency of Highspire, her so far most prominent place of worship, her teachings got bastardized to a point where the population gets fed a tamer version of her, focusing on self enlightenment rather than seeking the truth and weeding out corruption. The Shining Crest - once a proud order of knights in honor to Hikashi and police of the country - are now paying her no more than lip service, knowing full well that it costs them her favor.

Rituals, Rites, Holy Days

In settlements where Hikashi is prominent, it is tradition to give the priests a part of whatever you can spare, no matter how little, as a way to show your appreciation of their service to those with less.

Divine Goals & Aspirations

Hikashi wants to weed out the darkness and bring to light what has been hidden from sight. Lies are grave offenses to her as they hide the truth and the light behind it. For that purpose she goes to great lengths. Her usually so calm and warm nature fires up at the sight of corruption and deceit. She condemns those that support the lies only helps those that she deems worthy of her light, the ones that walk her path. It doesn't concern her what you might have done in the past. It matters who you are now.
