La Playa

La Playa is a beach located on the northwestern coast of Isla Del Encanto and is not too far from where Luna lives. It's a very popular hang-out spot and families go there during summer break or holidays. It is located by a hotel and there is a restaurant and bar located at the entrance of the beach. The beach is good for fishing, boating, swimming, and rowing among other water sports. The beach has facilities and bathrooms. walking and bike areas, beach huts, running water, emergency room restaurants, food kiosks, and other facilities; The beach also has ample free parking. it also has a wide platform from where fabulous shows are presented. There are food kiosks, picnic areas, recreational areas, and areas for activities such as snorkeling, fishing, diving, kayaking, and more.    Twilight Academy had a trip there that one of the teachers didn't want Luna to come for and made up the excuse that she couldn't come because she missed too many days of school. That didn't go as planned because Luna just showed up with her family, much to the teacher's displeasure. She happily commented that it's a popular hang-out spot with her family and friends and she wasn't too worried when the teacher tried making it so Luna couldn't come. She even invited the entire class to the fiesta being held at Plaza de festivals. Also a majority of students didn't go because the teacher said Luna can't go, so she invited them separately.

Geography

It's a beach that has nice cook wind. The sand is a whitish color there are many palm trees and rocks. The Ocean is a beautiful clear blue and is nice and warm/cool, perfect on a scolding hot day. The beach in general is very beautiful and there is a wonderful view of the sunset that makes the sky a pinkish orange color.

Localized Phenomena

Despite the weather, the beach always has a nice breeze and seems to be cooler than other areas of the island. The smell of the fresh salty ocean is strong and can be smelled from inside your car

Climate

like other places in Isla Del Encanto, the beach can get hot but has a nice breeze to it. The cool water makes up for the hot sand on exceptionally hot days. There is a lot of shade because of pine trees to make up for it as well, making it the perfect hang-out spot on a hot summer's day.

Fauna & Flora

There are many palm trees on the beach, as well as vines and bushes. There is a wide variety of fish as well, making it a popular fishing spot, it is also not uncommon to see dolphins, and many times you can pet them. Unfortunately, many locals are terrified of dolphins, but tourists and some other locals find it neat. Occasionally birds will pass by and may visit and allow people to pet them or look at them. These birds consist of parrots, woodpeckers, bullfinch, and striped-headed tanager, and legends say that a Phoenix may appear for a brief amount of time, but will stay longer if you can get close to it.

Natural Resources

Wood and leaves from palm trees, water from the ocean, fish rocks, palm leaves, coconuts from palm trees.

Tourism

Many people go here as it is a beach and who does not want to go to the beach? especially on a nice hot day. It is mainly popular with the locals and is often crowded on July 25, a holiday in Isla which is also Luna's birthday. It was also the location of a school trip for Twilight Academy and became popular with the students, who began visiting the beach for the summers after that. Many people will bring portable grills with them and coolers. There is also a restaurant and bar at the entrance of the beach with is popular with older people and is crowded on summer days and holidays. On the 24th of June, a patron saint festival is held at the beach and for three days you can listen to music such as salsa and meringue as well as enjoy kiosks and contests. On this beach, you can do different activities such as catamaran rides, kayaking, diving, and snorkeling.
It was class time and the teacher had a special announcement. "Okay class, I figured as a reward we can go on a trip to La playa beach," The teacher announced, everyone got excited. "I know where that is," "but uh... Luna," The teacher called out. "Unfortunately you can't come," "What? Why not?" Ronnie asked. "She had too many sick days," The teacher explained. "But she can't help that!" Ronnie protested. "Rules are rules," "You're the one hosting this trip," "If Luna can't go, then I'm not going!" "Ronnie please, don't ruin the fun for yourself. if Luna wanted to come then she should've come to school more often," "Actually, Luna don't you live there?" Luna wrote a note. "Ja, the beach is down the street from town," "Oh really? Then I guess it makes sense for Luna to take us on the trip!" Ronnie smirked, looking at Luna. "All in favor of that, raise your hand," Half the class raised their hand. "Well, would you look at that?" Ronnie once again smirked.  "It looks like half of the class would rather go with Luna," "But if you go with Luna then you can't go to the movies afterward," "Pff, movies?" "There's a fiesta and carnival in the plaza at 6," Luna whispered to Ronnies. "Well if you want to go to the movies then go with miss piggy, but if you'd rather go to the carnival then you can go with Luna," Ronnie bribed back. "A carnival?" A student repeated. "Fuck the movies, I'd rather go to a carnival," "You're probably gonna pick something like Aquaman,"  so many students chose Luna. "Oh, and miss piggy, don't think this will be ignored. I'm sure principal Celeste will be happy to hear that you were gonna deny Luna a trip because of her illness," Ronnie warned.
