Elf

An Elf is a beautiful creature with pointy ears and long hair that resembles humans and are closely related to Fae(Fairies) They reside in forest, caves, underground locations, and springs. One of the most common locations is Hollow grove which has been hidden for many years.   There are many different types of Elves, the High Elves, and Nature elves.   High Elves: Also called Eldarin. These Elves also go by the name blood elves. They are the race of Elves that took over Edenstone and renamed it twilight. They are also said to be the founder of all the other elf races. They were graceful warriors and wizards who resided in the forest.    Types of high elves: Gold Elves, Moon Elves(aka silver elves), Gray elves, light elves, dark elves   Nature elves: A populous race of Elves who live in the forest. They consist of the basic elements of Earth, Water, wind, ice, etc.,   Types of Nature elves: Earth(AkA garden or harvest elves) Flower elves, Animal elves, Wood Elves, Wild Elves (AKA green elves) Water, Aquatic, Wind, Snow, Ice   Other: Half-elves, usually elves that are half-human but apply to any Elve that is half of a different species, although there are not any known half-elves that are of a different species. Many theorized that there may be half-mage elves as they are close to mages but that has yet to be proven.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Elves share a humanoid appearance with many other species, Skin color may be different and vary from known human skin colors to unnatural skin colors such as blue or green, or white, which is common among demons, fairies, and vampires. They have longer spiky ears. Many elves are taller than the average human and may even have a better physique.   Gold elves had bronze-colored skin and hair most often of copper, golden blond, and black, with red more uncommon but not unheard of. Gold elves typically had green eyes, though golden ones were also common, often with a liquid appearance, and silver, black, hazel, or copper hues had also been heard of. Silver elf skin was pale, often with an icy blue hue. Silver elf hair was commonly black, blue, or silvery white. Silver elf eyes, like those of other elves, were very commonly green, although some were blue as well. All exhibited a characteristic best described as golden flecks speckled through the iris. Gray elves are taller than other high elves but physically weaker, They have silver hair and amber eyes, or gold hair and violet eyes. As assumed from their name Gray elves have a grayish skin color.   Hald-human elves have a more diverse appearance, being able to have really any skin, hair, and eye color depending on how their human parent looked. Example: King Ludwig had brown hair and eyes, he resembled his father even though snow elves usually have light hair and eye colors such as white, silver, and/or light blue and have snow-white or porcelain skin. His daughters through Annaliese resembled snow elves better, Mitzi having a close resemblance to her elven grandmother, porcelain skin, snow white hair and icy gray eyes while her sister, Adelheid, looked more like her mother with her blonde hair and icy blue eyes.

Genetics and Reproduction

Same as a human.

Growth Rate & Stages

Elves age faster than humans, while half-elves age just as fast as humans (or the other species they may be a part of) By the time they're 10 they look like adults and are fully grown and are sometimes considered fully grown depending on what race of elf they are.

Ecology and Habitats

Many elves thrive in nature, living in places such as caves and forests, even the royal elves live in the forest and their castle is surrounded by nature.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Elves have a similar diet to humans, it turns out many elves like drinking blood from mermaids.

Behaviour

Silver elves are very extroverted and friendly to different species unlike Gold of Gray Elves, who believe themselves to be superior to different species and even races of elves. Nature elves are more humble(except wood elves) while friendly, many do not like humans and are hesitant to make contact with them. However, unlike high elves, when they do make contact with humans they are not as hostile(Wood elves are exceptions)
