The Mortal World
The home of millions, the disc-shaped plane of mortals spins gently above the Astral Sea. Dominated by ocean, the world is home to diverse ecosystems, ancient ruins, grand cathedrals, and places of great magical power.
Since the plane is essentially a disc rotating in the aether, there is an Edge, over which the oceans pour in grand falls, essentially unbroken along the entire circumference. Geographers have confirmed, though, that the plane is not exactly flat. It curves gently at the edges, forming a concave sort of disc.
Geography
The Mortal World's geography is as varied as any plane's. There are vast deserts of sand, snow, or salt. Forests of pine, oak, or crystal grow in all corners, and mountains, hills, plains, and marshes are found as well.
One thing made apparent by any amount of travel in the Mortal World is the sheer amount of water. Two great oceans dominate the land: the Stormbreaker to the northwest, and the Eternal to the southeast. Technically contiguous, the two bodies are designated as separate oceans for the sake of the mortals who dwell on their shores.
