The legendary "City of Dreamers" nestled close to the heart of the Dreamlands. The towering crystalline spires and beautiful glass sculptures of Celephaïs stand testament to the unbounded creativity and spirit that allows a mortal to become a Dreamer. Now a metropolis, it was originally founded and created by Kuranes, who styles himself the "King of Dreamers." It was under his guiding hand that the majority of human Dreamers bounded together to consolidate the mighty influence they now wield over the rest of the Dreamlands.
Located in a bay off the strait that separates the Northern Dream Sea from its Southern counterpart, Celephaïs can be seen for miles in any direction. Its structures indeed seem designed to catch and reflect the light of the dream-sun, acting as a beacon to trade ships and a warning to others. This location also affords its residents a prime location to strike out against the Black Galleons that peddle slaves from Dylath-Leen. Though the Moon Beasts that mastermind this trade are too cunning to have their operations fully thwarted, Celephaïs continues to act as a thorny annoyance to both themselves and their dark master.
