Tiago DaGama

Tiago was born in Louisiana to two Brazilian immigrants in 2222. Through their support, and his excellence in school, he graduated high school at the top of his class two years early. By 2243, he was Tulane University’s most successful quantum engineering students. He had published several research papers on the capabilities quark mutation had for more efficient Faster Than Light travel. When Project H.O.P.E. reached out to him about bringing his talents to the endeavor, he was flattered that they would consider someone so young.
Having played a significant role in designing the engines for the ships in H.O.P.E.’s fleet, he was invited along the TSS Geisel to assist in troubleshooting any issues that might occur along the way, as well as for developing new technology on board. As part of sleep rotation C, he worked alongside aeronautical engineers to establish plans for landing and disembarking gravitational bodies that might be useful for refueling the Geisel.
After the discovery of the TSS Curiosity, Tiago was conscripted to an expedition that would explore the abandoned ship he once played a hand in creating. With his expertise, he may be able to provide guidance the investigation needs to understand why the ship went dark. The expedition would include him, four security guards, four pilots, and three other engineers. While he was confident that everything would go off without a hitch, he couldn’t shake the sinking feeling in his stomach that there was more to the story that had yet to be uncovered.
