Lazer Gun

With the enhancement of technology came the massive enhancement of firearms, both for the good protection and for the harms of conflict. One of the most impressive yet dangerous inventions that came from this era would be the creation of the lazer gun. With three different harm settings (warning, casual, death), the lazer gun will perish those who stand in its way if desired.
The weapon is commonly held with both arms of its user since it has a rather bulky and heavy build. The body of the weapon is all white and has a turning nob on the right side that controls what degree of threat the weapon is set to. Ammunition for the weapon comes in the form of crystals, each crystal powering the weapons for various uses, depending on the amount of energy expended.
Various sized bolts of light are emitted from the weapon on engagement, creating explosions of harmful energy. Set at the right mode, this weapon can disintegrate a human at will or even shoot down a helicopter in one good shot. The weapons from modern Earth times hold no chance against that of the lazer gun.

Supplied by the energy that powers the weapon, the lazer gun emittes powerful blasts of light that can cause serious harm to those who come in contact with it.

Rarity

There's not many of these weapons on the ship, so rarity can be argued. Most of the lazer guns are in direct control by those who lead the ship's protection group.
