Jigg

The alien race discovered on the wreck of the TSS Curiosity, commonly referred to as ‘Jiggs’ by the crew of the TSS Geisel has little currently known about it. A member of this race stands around 8 ft tall with lanky, human like limbs. They have some sort of fur covering their bodies similar to that of a bear, thought it is a slightly luminescent black color. They stand on 2 limbs similar to humans, though their ‘feet’ appear to be similar to that of a bear or lion, being very long with claws. They do sometimes walk on all 4 limbs. They have very aloof looking faces with large, single-colored eyes and large noses. Large ears adorn the top of their heads, allowing them to hear very well despite the lack of air molecules in space. They appear to not need to breathe air on a regular basis if at all. They appear to be relatively passive, only attacking if provoked. They seem to have a craving for meat from earth, having eaten most of the meat containing food packets left on the TSS Curiosity. They appear to have made their homes in the now dead trees left in the farm of the TSS Curiosity with a few nesting elsewhere. Their attacks are almost instantly deadly due to their claws but also a petrifying scream they let out just before, it is unknown the nature of this scream and if they release some sort of particle into the air because the cells of humans near it begin to burst. The Jiggs appear to reproduce similarly to mammals, though their young reach maturity within about a day. There appear to be familial packs that keep to themselves within the larger group on the ship.
