Caitlin Peters

Caitlin Peters is 29 years old and stands at 5’9’’ tall. She is the current commander for supply and resource regulation on the TSS Geisel. She entered a program at the age of 17 in order to learn the ins and outs of the space program as well as be trained in combat, space based agriculture, and ship maintenance. Because of her apparent skills with math and organization, she was given special training for ship energy usage and resource consumption. She was promoted to a commander status after successfully completing a month long simulation of resource allocation on earth and was assigned to the TSS Geisel. Caitlin is one of about 5 people on the ship who are aware that it is only meant to sustain people for 2 years. Because of her skill, the ship and its resources have already lasted for many months longer than they should have before they began to dwindle. She, about a year ago, began to secretly manipulate numbers, removing a few hundred calories from meal allocations in order to stretch their supply. She has also worked closely with the specialist team for engineering to improve the air ventilation and water recycling systems. Caitlin is a generally likeable person who knows many people on the ship due to her checking in on just about everything for efficiency. Recently her friends have noticed that she has become colder toward others, likely due to stress, which of course most of them assume has to do with some sort of relationship and not the true severity of their resource situation. People on the ship are aware that they need to find a place to stop and gather some materials but are not aware of just how many they may need.
