Yuenjin, Yellow
Named for their yellowish/golden/blond fur and eyes, yellow yuenjin are generally considered the favoured children of Murrthir, the Mother, and creator of Triumve. While they sometimes breed true they are more often born to normal yuenjin parents and, as such, considered to not only be a blessing by Murrthir but also fated for great things. Apart from their cultural treatment their innate insight will always skew towards detecting evil and they have a boon towards rapid healing. Despite being favoured by Murrthir, yellow yuenjin are not bound to her worship, although most of them do worship her.
Yellow Yuenjin are typically not only taller than other Yuenjin, but more powerfully built and have much smaller tails (often little more than a stump). They are also the most likely to breed true of the various yuenjin subraces.
• Ability Score Racial Traits: Yellow yuenjin are stronger and hardier than their common cousins but less agile and tend to disdain intellectualism. They gain +2 Strength, +2 Wisdom, -2 Intelligence. This racial trait replaces the normal yuenjin Ability Score modifiers.
• Murrthir’s Boon: Yellow yuenjin heal rapidly so long as they are not hit with certain disruptive materials. They gain DR 5/cold iron. This racial trait replaces Divine Insight.
• Murrthir’s Insight: Yellow yuenjin can use detect evil as a constant spell-like ability, with a caster level equal to their character level. This racial trait replaces Attentive.
• Powerful Build: Yellow yuenjin have a base land speed of 30ft and gain a +2 racial bonus on strength checks to break objects and on combat manoeuvre checks to sunder. This racial trait replaces their normal movement speed (including their climb speed) and Prehensile Tail.
• Special Note: Because of their greater size, yellow yuenjin have their starting height increased by 6 inches and their starting weight increased by 30 pounds.
