Isessa is a renown healer who routinely listens to petitions for her to intervene and help those in the most dire need. She does not always agree, but when she does, there is always a price, albeit one that she judges based on the means of those she has helped. A poor farmer might be asked to set aside some land or crops for the city's need (usually only for a limited time), while a wealthy noble might have to donate large sums of money to a civic project.
