Descendants of humans bred by the karsyli empires of old. They are typically shorter than other humans, but hardier and better suited to life in confined or bustling places.

• City-born: Karsylbred humans gain a +2 racial bonus on sleight of hand and stealth checks, and a +4 racial bonus on survival checks in urban and underground settings. In addition, they may roll twice when saving against disease, taking the better roll. This racial trait replaces Skilled.
• Karish: Karsylbred humans begin play speaking Karish. This racial trait replaces the additional language that humans usually start with other than Common.
• Special Note: Because they were bred to be smaller karsylbred humans decrease their starting height by 6 in and their starting weight by 30 lbs.
