Hanom, Ironborn
Ironborn Hanomi are mostly from the city-state of Orasfier, also known as the Iron Island, where these Hanomi refined their gift for earth magic into metallurgy.
• Ability Scores: Ironborn hanomi lack the insight of their cousins but are much more intellectual and logical. They gain +2 Dexterity, +2 Intelligence, -2 Strength. This racial trait replaces the normal hanomi Ability Score modifiers.
• Ironborn Magic: Ironborn hanomi are treated as one level higher when casting spells that create, mimic or manipulate metal (such as heat/chill metal or wall of iron), when using granted powers of the metal sub-domain (including the granted power they retain from the Earth domain), and/or revelations of the oracle's metal mystery. This ability does not give them early access to level-based powers; it only affects the powers they could use without this ability. In addition, an ironborn hanom with a Charisma score of 11 or higher also gain the following spell-like abilities (the caster level is equal to their character level):
1/day—detect metal, know direction, mending. This racial trait replaces Hanom Magic.
• Ironborn Familiarity: Ironborn hanomi treat all firearms (including siege weapons) as martial weapons. This racial trait replaces Fearless.
• Ironcunning: Ironborn hanomi receive a +2 bonus on Perception checks to notice unusual metalwork, such as traps and hidden doors located in metal (or mostly metal) walls or floors. They receive a check to notice such features whenever they pass within 10 feet of them whether they are actively looking. They also gain a +2 racial bonus on Appraise checks when used on metallic or mostly metallic objects. This racial trait replaces Scavenger.
• Machincraft: Ironborn hanomi gain a +2 racial bonus on Knowledge (Engineering) and Use Magic Device checks. This racial trait replaces Sure-footed.
