Laurence Marcus Capet is a bioware engineer. He is currently employed by Orgotek Corporation. He was elected to the Academy of Biotechnical Sciences in 2118, in recognition for his contributions to the study of noetic-human interfaces.  

Background, Early Life, and Education

Capet was born in 2094 in Hanover, New Hampshire. He is the son of Denis and Madeleine Capet (née Dubois), and a member of the influential Capet family.   Capet attended the Phillips Exeter Academy and graduated from Stamford University with a B. Sc. summa cum laude in 2114. He received his Ph. D. in Biotechnical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University in 2117. Career in Bioware Before joining Orgotek, Capet was a research lead at the Bioware Research Laboratory at Johns Hopkins University. His teams demonstrated that telepathic signals could be received and decoded by organic semiconductors.   Shortly after, Capet took a position with Orgotek Corporation.  

Known Associates

Capet seems to have a cool relationship with his parents, preferring to spend time with his aunt, Anna Capet the FSA senator for Massachusetts.   He retains academic and professional links to the Bioware Research Laboratory at Johns Hopkins, particularly his doctoral collaborator and childhood friend Professor Jack Castellane.
