Purpose / Function

The White Fortress is a military fortification as well as serving as the seat of the Ivory Throne, the palace of the King of the North, and the barracks of the Spiring Knights.

Alterations

The White fortress is a new structure only being built in the last twenty years, but it continues to be expanded.

Architecture

The White Fortress is a practical fortification made from high white granite and quarry stone walls, towers with pitched tiled roofs, featureless water spouting gargoyles, oaken catwalks, stone crenells and wooden palisades both.

History

Upon unifying the disparate peoples of the North below a single banner the warrior Vrom required a place from witch to rule. Being a pragmatic fighter he combed the coastline until coming upon a suitable defensible location. There he set the first stones of The White Fortress.
