Empire of Nordmark

The Empire of Nordmark is the northmost country in Haimania. It's landscape features snowy mountains aswell as boggy wetlands with sprawling forests inbetween. It's a cold climate with some regions having snowfall all year round. As such the inhabitans have adapted to the harsh climate with furcoats and vast consumption of alcoholic beverages.
Nordmark's biggest export product is wood, the second biggest is alcohol.
Once controlling the current City of Panheim the entire country got destabilised after the previous Emperor Raska Nikulus III got disposed of by his younger brother Vasha Nikulus.
This has left the general popualtion question the legitimacy of the current Emperor and Vasha is now busy trying to extinguish the flames of revolution in his own country before he can set his sights on the now independed Panheim.

Structure

The Empire of Nordmark is ruled by the Great Emperor. They have the comeplete and totalitarian controll over all the official bodies.
The title of Emperor is usually inherited from the parents, or aquired by taking the throne with force in this case.

Public Agenda

The Empire currently tries to keep their own citizens under controll. However it's argued that they are going to attempt to annex Pandysia, sooner or later.

Assets

Nordmark is a cold place but it's rich in natural ressources. Trees and iron are plentyfull and Nordmark has a big and well trained army, with many ground vehicles at it's disposal.

History

The Great Empire once span accross the entire continent from Nordmark to Elysia. Over time both Elysia and Pandysia became independed, with Pandysia beeing the most recent after the turmoil that was caused by the forcefull overtaking of the throne by the brother of the ruling Emperor.

Alcohol

The alcohol exported from Nordmark is called Vinshi and is known in all of Haimania. It's part of many drinks, however the author suggests drinking it with ice and cranberry juice.
