Appearance
Baranis is a female vi about 6'1" with a mauve skintone and green eyes. She wears flowing clothes and a good deal of jewelry, including several large feathers pinned behind her long ears. She prefers to fight with a cutlass, but dislikes wearing it when it is hanging loose on her person and instead carries it strapped over her back. Her spikes are especially pointy, but her head is smooth.

Background
Baranis was a youth in Kalthkas in a small town that pirates regularly visited. She joined the crew at 13 for a life of adventure without exactly knowing what pirates were or what kind of future lay in store for her. Since then, she's bounced from ship to ship, making connections and drifting from place to place. She has no set roots and identifies more with the life of piracy at large than any particular region.
Motivations
She feels strongly that Inefou is their enemy and a grave threat to their way of life and the way of life for those resentful of the Empire in general. She has a bit of a revolutionary lean to her ideologies.

Current Life
She is the captain of the ship known as the Worthy Wound. Her crew is mostly disenfranchised vi, including many from her home area of Kalthkas who carry strong resentments against the Empire.
