The Kingdom of Shornabbli
A second nation of subaquatic dwellers is Shornabbli, where the seven Turquoise Roads intersect into the magnificent city of Trunn-Junn, with its pearl-studded palaces and sprawling slums of coagulated snot and silt and sand at the bed of Shornabbli Lake, which is fed by the tributaries Kluga and Glaprid and empties out through the Mirmolli. Trunn-Junn is its theocratic capital, where the High Priestess rules over the twenty-one other settlements of the lake, three of which are lesser cities that do not even rival Trunn-Junn's divinely-ordained preponderancy. Only Trunn-Junn's towers penetrate the surface. The primary object of veneration is Mirmol, who is a powerful river-dragon who fancies herself a goddess of storms, hunting, industry and poetry - "She who creates to destroy", as a result her most devout followers revel in irony and contradiction, which has befuddled more moderate disciples.
Shornabbli's banks are studded with agricultural villages filled with surface-dwellers who are united with them through their religion, and the magical Turquoise Roads allow a Trunnite to swim through the air with her tail, as long as she is above the road, and a Frastrian to trod around dry beneath lake water if he does the same - they even have courtyards and squares too so periodically you will see throngs of pilgrims annually joining the Trunnites in their festivals. The Turquoise Roads stretch out extremely far, intersecting many other roads and railways and terminating at massive towers of lapis lazuli.
