Dent Forest

Dent forest is split into two halves by an unnatural cold that permeates the Verlio side of the forest. The Aromara half of the forest is populated by several families of Ghost pokemon, who enjoy pranking the locals and listening to the gym leader read fairy tales.

Localized Phenomena

The intense cold is caused by a strange piece of metal embedded in the ground. The metal appears to be one of the links to a chain, and it absorbs heat to such a degree that the trees nearest to it have been so deeply frozen, they have essentially been replaced with ice sculptures. It is probable that touching it directly would kill a human.
