Zarruk's letter

You are a tough one to track down nephew. When I got word that travelers had come through and a Gith with a special talent in musical story-telling was with them I knew it was you! I couldn't believe what my ears were hearing. I fell to my knees and knew Zaerith had answered my request from beyond the planes. It bring my sould rest that you are alive and well. You have made quite the reputation for yourself as a performer. I will say that is a far reach from our orderly duties in training as monks in servitude of Zerthimon. You always did things differently growing up. I know your parents would have questions but would still be proud of you.
We have much to catch up on and now that I know you are near here we can do just that. I was going to stay in town for a few more days, but an emergency was brought to my attention. I was called away and I know you are probably on another grand tour playing taverns every night, but if you can find time to meet me I will be greatly pleased by this. I have left instructions with the very hospitable innkeep, Amara. I am staying in the town of Stilbjabyr just east of here. A two days journey at the most. You will find the Wrong Elf Inn off of Mastiff's Way. It is a large building with half timbered walls. Ask for Tharkar when you arrive and she will set you up. I have much to tell you and something I believe you have been looking for; the name of the blasted Mind-flayer. FInd me as soon as you can because I believe if my intel is correct a piece of the Spawning Stone has made it here.
Our fear is that the one responsible for taking this gemstone is trying to bring about some form of chaos from Limbo to this plane. All I ask is that you find me and hear me out on the task I have for you.
