Toril

A continent residing within the world of Toril, Graesagea once a thriving Utopia of equality and honor has begun to feel the birth pains of a cataclysmic series of events. Forces of power have been cast down to the world and have caused strange phenomenon to take place. Chaos builds, darkness encloses, and the prayers of many are being left without answer throughout the land. This became known as the Time of Troubles. The year is 1358 DR, the Year of Shadows, and the pantheon of deities has been dealt a hand that they didn't see coming.   The phenomenon that marks the world is one of the coldest and snowest the world has ever seen. There were immediate effects that took place in regions that were unheard of and would end up having last effects. These effects are still in the process of being understood and the scholars have been scratching their heads as what needs to be done next. Life is not as it once was and would never return to the normalcy that it had known.   A great upheavel was taking place above the inhabitants of Toril and it's brother world Abeir. These two worlds used to be one world, but were seperated by an Overgod through the makings of artifacts that had recordings and purposes not known to mortal beings. These artifcats were used as a barrier to keep the two worlds apart so that balance could be maintained between Law and Chaos. Changes to this balance were going to be felt, war would wage, and those living normal lives would be called to something greater than themselves. Would balance be restored to the Realmspace or would chaos insue? Would heroes arise to answer the call to defeat the evil that is at hand? This is the story of those called who would be considered unlikely by most.
