Grand Tiorath Calendar

The Grand Tiorath calendar is the primary Calendar on Tor'saan, and as such dates are kept accordingly-   Day/month/year/age Each year consists of four months alligned with the seasons, with the transitional seasons (Autumn/Spring) lasting 92 days and the primary seasons (Summer/Winter) lasting 93 days. Each year lasts exactly 370 days.   Each age (except the first) continues where the last age left off, but changes the 'year' section to zero (unless it begins on the first day of a new year, in which it is one). This prevents years from being twice counted. The beginning of an age is always determined by a collosal change in the world (often a cataclysm) and as such no age lasts for the same duration. An Example of the calendar would be...         The calendar began it's existence as the calendar of the Tiorath hierarchy centered on their namesake Tiorath isles. However it was generally accepted as the standardized global calendar during the early peak of the Tiorath empires dominance over the realms, likely sometime in the early 500's due to it's common use across the world, much like the trade tongue's precursor dialect was spread by the Tiorathy governors to their new territories.
