Citadel Class Ship of the Line

Summary

The Citadel Class Ship of the Line was a colossal class of ship that had six decks and over 150 guns, making use of the new "Stone-Render Cannons" to further increase it's firepower. The only Citadel Class Ship ever made was the Silver Wings of Renic, which was sunk in the early second age.

Description

Citadel Class Ships had 6 decks, were quite broad and sported two extended Artillery variant Stone-Render Cannons placed on rotating platforms toward the rear of the second deck. The top deck had a cutout section that allowed the guns to rotate freely as they reached skyward, their barrels extending far above the top deck. The Citadel Class Vessel boasted a steel-plated hull, enchanted heavily with a steel soul enchantment. The ship had 4 masts.

Utility

Citadel Class Vessels were designed to serve as a fortress breaker and flagship in one, and it's engineers were known to brag about its invisibility. It was constructed with Steelwood and Plated in Steel-soul metal plates, and was enchanted in such a way that most impacts were dispersed into the ocean. The Stone-Render Cannons were capable of ripping apart stone, and could easily destroy a Galleon with one hit to the lower decks. The ship's crew included thirty or more Tidal Mages who would manipulate tides and currents to enhance the ships speed, giving it an otherwise impossible speed.

History

The only known Citadel Class ship was constructed during the late first age and destroyed during The Sundering of Tiorath.
