Dahn Vo (Dan - Vo)

The area of Dahn Vo was once shrouded in mystery and wealth. While many considered it to be a myth, it was renowned throughout the wards as a centre of progress and prowess.   The area was originally ruled by several members of the Air Court who had retreated into exile from the Air Lord, using their knowledge and ingenuity to bring this part of the city up to the standard of even some of the Central Spire districts. It was practically a utopia, residents caring about and helping one another, everyday resources readily available, minimal crime and violence...until one of the nobility tried to push past the limits of magic, to ascend to a new level and become powerful enough to defy the Titans.    Their motivations were good, hoping to spread the peace and abundance they'd found in Dahn Vo to the rest of Titan Spire, but they, of all people should have known better. The Elemental Titan of Air caught wind of the scheme, as he in all his paranoia and intel was bound to, and as soon as the movement gained traction and started to grow in power, he took the only logical course of action: removing all the atmosphere from their environment. He timed it perfectly, so he could interrupt the casting of the ritual that would threaten his reign, but in doing so caused a rebound effect that decimated the entire district.   In the aftermath, the ward was sealed off with bulkheads, reinforced and sealed tight to make sure no one could enter, emptied of atmosphere to make sure no one could live if they did. If the other three Lords discovered The Titan of Air's mistake, there would be hell to pay.   Unfortunately, Anil Caelus Celestin had not calculated that the ritual had succeeded in some measure back inside Dahn Vo. The dead lay where they fell, across the ward, without a single breath of air in their lungs...and yet. Was that a twitch?

Important Locations

The Technology Spires - These vast spires hold, preserved in the vacuum of the Astral, caches of wealth and technology that would improve the lives of thousands of people in the Lesser Wards. Many of the automated security measures are still active in these towers to this day, built to take out intruders quickly and permanently. Only the most skilled scavengers could get in and get out of such a place, but the credits and influence that would come with success make it well worth the risk to some.   The Dark Tower - The largest of the Technology Spires, black energy wafts from it and stains the structures nearby with an impenatrable darkness and cold. This is the one location that even the boldest avoid; to even look upon it fills one with bonedeep dread and freezes them in place, unable to move closer.   The Tram Lines - These large networks of older Tram Networks are a copy of the ones in the Central Spire, the schematics pulled directly from the Air Court and recreated here, though these have additional properties and float around and above the city. Though this is great for seeing all the sights, it does not stop the sights from seeing you.
