All'Var (AAL-vahr)

All'Var previously was a heavily inhabited ward, filled with workshops and treasures - people visited to find the best deals for many different items that could help them in their day-to-day lives. This edge-of-the-world district became known as a ward that could handle, examine, and explore the unknown or strange technology that others would not dare touch. 
That all came to an end after the ward received a delivery for the examinations guild. It was a strange metallic orb, vibrating in such a way that led many to speculate this relic was from a different world - unheard of in Titan Spire, alone in the vast darkness of space. It was found by an astral vessel following readings from a bend in the astral sea, readings that were off the charts. But upon arriving, the only thing this vessel found there was a small hole in space, with this giant glowing orb floating nearby. Once they pulled the orb aboard, the hole vanished without a trace.
While in All'Var, the orb just hummed and spun, without seeming to make an impact on anything around it. Research was being performed by all the top minds, and revealed nothing but gibberish...until an asteroid event hit and the orb ruptured, decimating the population around it.
The zone now serves as a salvage monument, full of scrap metal, spare parts, unusual treasures and other strange resources, just waiting to be collected. Sometimes people will find rare and expensive materials lying around and ready to use; good salvagers can make an excellent living here, though those who call All'var home tend to be a little odd.

Important Locations

The Grindstone - The Soiled Solution controls the access point to All'Var known as the Grindstone. Those who purchase licences can use it to enter safely and salvage to their heart's content, even selling that same salvage back to The Soiled Solution on their way out. This has become rather popular, and a small shanty town has been set up outside The Grindstone filled with workers bidding on the limited licenses available each day. Just don't leave your tools unattended; they might go missing. And if you try to get through the Grindstone without a license, well...you'll learn how it got its name.
The Shattered Orb - The most famous attraction in All'var, even a few of the Court of Air's best scientists have come to study this strange device. Many groups hire salvagers as guides through the mazes of scrap and other such treasures, to and from the Orb each day. For while many have tried to camp near the device, their guides have always returned to find no one there to lead back.
