Saving Strixhaven
Usually when people start this, they always begin a story of how they were always meant for greatness. I just wanted to live, I'm going to be entirely honest. That's why I helped because no one else could and we were the only hope. Murgaxor came back , he was a previous student who was seeking revenge. He had taken control of Dean Tullus with an item she found in the Deadlands. Turns out everything we had been trying to do and save Dean Tullus had been making the entire process slower or preventing us from getting the help we needed. He had poisoned the entire school making them vulnerable to his magic allowing him to kill the entire school. We left and had to find out Murgaxors location ,we found a hideout in the desert with stolen books weird creatures and the information we needed. We also made a friend named Vargas, who's a Flame Skull. Very interesting guy who wanted revenge against Murgaxor, so he tagged along with us. We found an ex Strixhaven Student called Ydemi who had been part of the school that tried to overthrow the entire school, she had a student of Strixhaven that she was in the process of training that we didn't get the name of. They were working for Murgaxor, they claim they were trying to escape. I want to believe them but I honestly think they just wanted to live. We took them both back to campus and found the creature I'd been helping Regenerate was called a
Arcanium
I don't like this planet, it wasn't very enjoyable. While I didn't spend a lot of time here only with Oakley on a personal quest, I heard and noticed that everyone is quite racist. I am a Moonstone Dragonborn, and it seems my species doesn't reside on the planet. So you can imagine all the stares and oogling I got, it wasn't enjoyable.
Fortunately we were in the North which I was told had looser rules,we did meet this lovely Half Giant named Helda who ran the general store in Brittlemoor, she explained everything. Elves run everything, if you aren't one you're treated as less than. They have slaughtered Changelings to the verge of extinction. We got the supplies we needed from her and she helped my friend Adith get into contact with someone who could help him get some magic items he wanted.
When we went to meet the contact of Hilda's who seemed like a well off Dwarf man named Brenn, during this meeting we learned of Catalyst's stair case curse which she seems to be enjoying. Brenn made a deal with Adith and he obtained a pair of sending stones, finder's goggles, and living gloves. Catalyst when she stepped up into the carriage she went down a staircase instead which led her to the sewers. We did end up testing if she could take people with her and it turns out she can. I followed her down this staircase when there wasn't one, we ended up in a tavern basement, as long as I couldn't see and trusted her we went down together.
Our adventures were taking us to Snowbury, Adiths parents picking us up in their Spelljammer Wasp ship. It was the first time I had ever seen one, it was very invigorating experience flying at a speed so fast your mind can't even comprehend it. We stopped for a moment and it seemed whoever had originally awoken the Cosmic Horror was upset that we foiled their plans. They were a white scaled skin Lich with a fire crown and several tentacles one coming directly out of the center of their chest. There was other creature sthat my friend Catalyst drew much better than I could ever describe that she named the Gibbering Mouths, they were summoned by this Lich. It was a tough fight, I was knocked unconscious but Oakley got me back up on my feet.
We flew about 20 miles out of Snowbury and and made the trek, we dealt with what we needed to an left. Oakley promised to get me a camera which I'm very excited about because perhaps I'll be able to better document these creatures. My final notes about this planet is I don't recommend it for anyone, it's filled with racists and while they're aware of space they aren't aware they aren't the only ones out there. I feel like at this point if they were made aware of other creatures existing in space they'd start a war with the first ones they interact with.

Saving Alhood
With the help of Jarod, I managed to convince my friends, Adith, Catalyst, and Oakley to put the Horror to sleep. There was a tower that we needed to get to, the tower allowed a spell to be casted anywhere on the planet. We didn't have any ideas on how to get to this Tower and were just hoping we'd land close upon going through the portal but luckily the request for help from a Strixhaven alumni was heard by Kane a very talented man who is quite skilled with teleportation.
We arrived on the planet, there was tentacles and eyes sprouting from the ground pushing the planet apart. However the true Horror was a figure dressed in yellow and the clothing had tears throughout. The face was round a black face while the rest of the head was white. There were spikes coming off the back of their neck like a collar, even looking at them granted us with different forms of madness.
The tower was floating several hundred feet into the air, Kane managed to teleport us to the top. To my friends I had disappeared but to me the eyes of my friends were flat like they never had eyes to begin with. Catalyst had the experience of feeling like a body part of hers was missing, thinking the only way to be sure was to rip open her body and check. Adith was never affected by the madness but he has quite a lot of experience with space. Oakley had the worst experience of feeling like he was being ripped apart by Rats. Luckily Oakley is a cleric who managed to remove the madness on each of us. Catalyst also managed to get a curse which she refuses to remove that makes it so she can't go upstairs. Upon trying she teleports to a random location.
Kane and Jarod had to deal with a Elder Dragon while we went towards the tower. The Dragon was absolutely horrifying with the tentacles sprouting from their neck, I hope the dragons soul found rest in their respective afterlife.
There were some weird creatures that I've named the Enders who were previously people that resided on the planet but the corruption had unfortunately taken them. Their faces came down into a point, they no longer had a nose there were two nostril holes. They had long legs that came to a point where the foot would be. The Enders had quite long arms and large hands that hung down to about their ankle. They had purple magic floating around them that were like fireflies with they way they floated around but they didn't seem like actual creatures just magic. They could teleport around every time someone tried to hit them with a melee attack.
An Illithid that was casting magic at us that flew quite high into the air, they seemed to be the main protector of this tower. They put up quite a fight but we managed to kill them running into the room we needed to get to. My friends luckily buffed me up with Bard Magic, Cleric Magic and simply just assisting and I casted the spell putting the creature to sleep. Upon them falling to sleep we had to evacuate the tower immediately before it crashed to the ground. We polymorphed into Eagles and flew to safety meeting up with Kane and Jarod.
Now I'm unsure of how another planet would be successful in putting this creature to sleep because I don't think every planet has a tower that can cast spells anywhere. So you'd likely need to be directly in front of the Horror for the spell to work. This was a horrifying experience that we could've died during, but Planet Alhood is safe. They do need to entirely rebuild their society but I'd personally rather rebuild it than everything I know and love dying. Thank you to my friends for going along with my incredibly dangerous plan and thank you Carnan.
Delphi's Entry 1
I've never really had a diary before, but I worry as time progresses and I just simply have a feeling that something bad is going to happen. The professors don't seem worried, but I am. Since I've started going to Strixhaven things have been happening. My first day here, I met some wonderful friends but one of the chests every first year has to go through turned out to be a mimic and attacked a few people. It turned out it was coated in this black goo. We still have no idea what this black goo is, if the professors know they haven't told us. The second was when we joined in on a frog race at the tavern, someone had coated them in black goo and they became large frog creatures that attacked us. The frogs are still alive and well, I've been taking care of them since. The third was at the large improvised play that everyone put on as a group, I unfortunately can't remember what it was called. Zanther and I started dating after that but I mostly just remember him and what happened. A cardboard cut out of a Owlbear came to life, it wasn't covered in the black goo but for some reason an actual Owlbear was captured in the cardboard. They never found out who released it. After that some little elementals that head chef Curty Axechucker was using to help with her duties it seems that somehow the main pot she used covered in the same black goo making the elementals go insane attacking people. Each time we've dealt with the issues, the professors are always there to clean things up and "investigate" but it doesn't go anywhere. The next year the Witherbloom tree was overwhelmed with creatures, we were sent to deal with them. We did but while there we ended up finding a ritual used to cast something which I believed was either to summon or make a creature. We found a colorful scale, which was taken to Professor Lang but she hadn't the slightest idea what it was. We didn't think anything else of it for the rest of the year as we were quite busy with the Mage Tower games. I was researching a personal project heading into the other Library that isn't easily accessible on a task from Professor Blackstone to find a specific book. While there we found a book that had the description fitting of the scale that we had found previously. It was a Mage Killer, we showed it to Professor Lang and she expressed they're in the outer realms and we have nothing to worry about. We should've worried about it more, directly after the Mage Games, we were attacked by two Mage Killers. They didn't succeed in their attempt but still scary nonetheless. Something is after us and wants us dead, yet the Professors did another investigation with all the information we provided and found nothing again. I have reason to believe it is the same person, our third year hasn't had any deadly events but things have still happened. People have been getting sick, we have reason to believe it's a similar sickness at a lower level than what struck two hundred years ago. The plague killed a few hundred people if my memory serves me right. The current virus only makes people dizzy and quite tired, while in the latest case we've seen they don't realize what they're doing yet have attacked people thinking we're dangerous creatures. So either the virus is adapting or it's being altered. Professor Travash has been helping where he can but he still isn't aware of whats going on. My friends have a theory but it isn't a very strong one, they believe that Dean Tolis has been sick our entire third year. They believe that the spherical artifact she holds, has been effecting her and other around her. While she did interact with a few of the students the day they tried to attack people, we have no proof that the two are related at this time. She also brushed against quite a few people at the dance, I'm noting this here for my own memory in case they're right and those students end up sick. The statue at this dance gave us a warning that something is brewing but we're already aware. On our way home from the dance, we found some confused students looking at a flickering light pole. They had the same confusion that the students setting up the dance that attacked us, these students looked like they were going to but Catalyst the wonderful Bard she is incapacitated them. One of them had a ripped piece of her dress in their hand, they explained she asked for their help they started acting weird and she ran. In the event that I am killed or die, if at all possible please revive me. I still have reason to believe that we're being hunted and I worry for my own safety.
Figuring out How to Deal with Cosmic Horror
From everything I've researched, they usually destroy everything in their path. There are plenty of stories of people running from them and barely surviving or seeing it from a perspective at a distance and not interfering. Which I understand you don't want to attract the attention of them. Cosmic Horrors are born from the negativity and feelings of mortals in the Outer Rims of the Astral Sea. It doesn't seem like there is any way to kill them, which is unfortunate as there isn't a permanent solution on how to get rid of these creatures. From what I've seen there are stories on putting these creatures to sleep with ancient rituals, none of these stories detail how as I don't think it's something that should be in the wrong hands. Which just makes it harder when you have to deal with one on your own, however there are connections and people that have the answers. My first thought was Professor Blackstone of Scrivining and Symbology who is known to have mastered the technique of permanency. He could do such a task but it would take away more magic than he could produce. Luckily we had a lecture speaker who had connections to the Conclave of Knowledge, I became an intern at this Conclave over the summer and I gained a lot of knowledge but most important how to put one to sleep. It's a very strong spell that is required and I don't think anyone could replicate it, however if this spell goes wrong while you are in the presence of this creature I assume it'll only piss it off and attract the attention of it due to the magic. Which means the person casting will need an escape plan or a way to deal with this creature, which presents another issue in itself on how to do this safely. I've been told there is a magical metal ship that floats through space, on my planet there isn't something like that. The idea is either get a ship that's fast enough and hidden enough to not attract the attention or to use magic to transport somewhere the Cosmic Horror couldn't follow. Which means we've reached another road block.
