The Sylamasian War
The Sylamasian Empire, having become a juggernaut on the world stage, begins throwing their weight around by enforcing their will on the country of Omarach, relegating it to the status of puppet state to the larger country. Shortly after this, they occupy Lichen and launch attacks at the country of Maiara. Maiara immediately goes on the defensive while pleading for help from their past ally Rypharam, only to find that they have a standing nonaggression pact that prevents their action. The country of Pok, currently at war with itself, divides between the two sides and officially splits. While the attacks are sporadic, the effects are felt worldwide, and an unseen battle takes place between spies that frequently cross enemy lines to deal a blow closer to the heart of their target. The war, for Sylamas at least, seems to be heavily influenced by religion, despite the longstanding practicioners of the Calazheesian religion opposing the senseless war and asserting that their god means for force to be a means of defense and to make way for peace.
The Conflict
Prelude
The countries of Sylamas and Maiara both send delegates to the nearby Moonbow islands to investigate the disappearance of a Lichenian colony there. After friction between the groups, Maiara agrees to leave the island to Sylamas in the interest of preserving peace. Sylamas establishes a military base. The disappearance is never explained.
Battlefield
Sylamas attacks Maiara and Lichen simultaneously, overtaking their smaller neighbor relatively quickly and making Maiara their main target. They stage the majority of their attacks on the Southeast with their jumping off point on Moonbow Island, but also carefully skate a few strikes past Louden and Rypharam from the North to hit the Western coast.

Sylamasian Empire
Strength
Fairly well armed and possessing multiple outposts left from their civil war that remain manned, as well as militia coalitions and naval forces made up of their constituents on Dasana Isle and one of the two sides of the country formerly known as Pok.
A well outfitted army, though their naval might is their weaker aspect. They also hold sway over the country of Omarach, have a nonaggression pact with Rypharam, occupy Lichen and have an alliance with one side of the country formerly known as Pok.
Casualties
Objectives
To defend their homeland and halt the aggressive expansion of the Sylamasian Empire.
To conquer others as their Emperor demands and enforce the will of the war god Calazhees, though not all of the religion's constituents agree with these actions.
