The Gallerean Calendar

The Gallerean Calendar is used by most countries on the continents of Eciclis and Meridon. The starting date is the founding of the Grand Library of Gallerea. A year is divided in 12 months, each of 50 days. The first triune (Vinan, Eledan & Kelsan) are the months of spring, the second triune (Bilbron, Gandron & Eldron) summer, the third (Kalakin, Shallin & Dalirin) autumn and the fourth (Randen, Matten, Egwen) winter.
The Gallerean Calender uses the moon cycle in its calculations. The moon, known as Aemairi's Eye, is full twice a month: on the 25th day and on the 50th day. This regularity provides people with an easy way of estimating what day it is.
The names of the months, in order, are:
