Chrysaller is the deity of the sun as well as new beginnings. This makes him one of the most popular gods of Tiarnan with followers among every layer of society and his clergy is welcome in every non-evil nation. Chrysaller is a cheerful god who retains a youthful demeanor. Chrysaller sees it as his duty to oppose evil at any opportunity that presents itself and is disgusted by the undead. His main goal is the eradication of evil. Although this goal is not realistic (even for a god), Chrysaller's optimistic attitude is not daunted by the enormity of this task. Yet, Chrysaller's attitude often has unintended consequences: he does not always think the consequences of his actions through which has led to disasters in the past. This has led to some deities considering him little more than a child.

Followers of Chrysaller are encouraged to be kind to others and show mercy as well as fight against corruption and evil. Next to this, the Church of Chrysaller is always willing to help people with new beginnings, even if they don't follow Chrysaller: this could range from helping with birth to officiating marriages to moving into a new village. Chrysaller loathes the undead and encourages his clerics to destroy them at any chance they have.

The evil deities, of course, oppose him though the goddess of darkness and the god of tyranny harbour an especially deep hatred against him.
