Theron's Bow

A creature attuned to this weapon gains the following benefits:
  • *Arrows shot from this bow count as magical and gain a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls. A piece of ammunition cannot gain a bonus greater than +3 using this effect.
  • *Once per long rest, you can spend 10 minutes for a special ritual, enhancing an arrow and turning it into an arrow of slaying for a creature of your choice. Unused arrows revert to their normal state when you begin a long rest.
  • *You gain proficiency in the Survival and Nature skills. If you are already proficient, double your bonus.
  • *You can communicate with beasts, using the speak with animals spell, and understand their emotions.
  • *You can communicate with plants, using the speak with plants spell.
  As a bonus action, you can whisper a praise to Artemis, gaining the essence of her hunting prowess. For the next 1 minute you gain the following benefits:  
  • *You can see in darkness and dim light as if it was bright light, up to a range of 120 feet.
  • *You ignore total and half cover with ranged attack rolls.
  • *You can see the vital organs of your enemies, making it easier to target them. Your attack scores a critical hit on a roll of 17 to 20.
  • *Your arrows deal an extra 3d8 poison damage.
  • *Advantage on attacks Vs Favoured Enemies.
  Once you use this feature, you can use do so again until you finish a long rest.   Items

      Arrows of the Seasons. The four arrows-each associated with a season-that accompany this bow can be fired only from it. Each arrow disappears immediately after it's used, and it reappears in the quiver at the next dusk. The save DC against spells cast with the arrows is 18. Each arrow has a unique property:     Spring. As an action, you can fire this arrow, targeting a beast or a plant creature you can see within 320 feet of you. On a hit, the arrow deals no damage, and the target gains the benefits of the awaken spell for 8 hours.     ***Spell: Awaken   Summer. As an action, you can fire this arrow at an unoccupied space on the ground that you can see within 320 feet of you, no attack roll required. A Nyxborn lynx is summoned in that space (use the stat block for a tiger with the Nyxborn traits from chapter 6). The lynx understands your verbal commands and obeys them as best it can, and it takes its turns immediately after yours. The emissary remains for 1 hour before fading away.     ***NPC: Nyxborn Lynx   Autumn. As an action, you can fire this arrow at a space on the ground that you can see within 320 feet of you, no attack roll required, casting the wall of thorns spell there.   **Spell: Wall of Thorns     Winter. As an action, you can fire this arrow at a space that you can see within 320 feet of you, no attack roll required, casting the ice storm spell there.     ***Spell: Ice Storm     Random Properties.    
  • *1. While attuned to the artifact, you can use an action to cast one 1st-level spell (chosen by the DM) from it. After you cast the spell, roll a d6. On a roll of 1-5, you can't cast it again until the next dawn.
  • *2. While attuned to the artifact, you can use an action to cast one 3rd-level spell (chosen by the DM) from it. After you cast the spell, roll a d6. On a roll of 1-5, you can't cast it again until the next dawn.
  *2 major beneficial properties  
  • 1. While attuned to the artifact, one of your DEX is set to 24.
  • 2. When you hit with a weapon attack while attuned to the artifact, the target takes an extra 2d6 damage of the weapon's type.
  • *3. *While attuned to the artifact, you can use an action to cast one 3rd-level spell (chosen by the DM) from it. After you cast the spell, roll a d6. On a roll of 1-5, you can't cast it again until the next dawn.
