The Valkyrie

Legend holds that Taarna the Valkyrie could raise the fiercest warriors from the meekest of peasants, and that she could lay waste to an entire army blindfolded.
She was a human, born and raised in the inhospitable frozen wastes of Ragnvald and honed her skill at arms against the hoards of ice giants that plagued an besieged her home. Her superior mastery of arms led her to become Baroness of Ragnvald. She was gifted Quoturus - The Sword of Stars, one of the ten Teeth of the Dragon, by its creator Thoorden Dragonbane Thane of Kol-Embor. She could only be felled by the giant sorcerer Vezok, who took the form of her most trusted lieutenant and assassinated her. Upon her death the god Hiryon granted her sainthood.
Her followers venerate combat in every form, and detest cowards who flee from the battlefield or hide behind masks and trickery.
