Badb
The Morrigan Badb (a.k.a. Battle Crow)
She is a fearsome presence on the battlefield who caused mass confusion through prophecy and madness. Her methods often include screaming her dooming prophecies at the enemies of her favoured side and send them into a panic. She is not entirely evil as, from time to time, she gives a positive forecast.
Like her sisters, Babd is connected to ravens and crows. She is regularly associated with the banshee, or bean sidhe, meaning fairy woman. The cries of the banshee signify an important death, much in the way that Badb’s appearance on a battlefield inspires terror and chaos.
