Flora
Flora is a halfling woman standing about 3 feet 3 inches tall with bright red/orange hair, often puled up into buns, emerald eyes, and a freckled face. Hailing from a small town in the west of Marentis, she set out with her weaver's tools on a journey to help people in need. Travelling from town to town offering her healing magic, and tailoring skills, she eventually ended up in Walla. ON the day she planned to pack up and head for the next town, her plans were abruptly changed upon seeing the gruffly handsome town Fern's apprentice, Sawyer Durango. Almost immediately smitten, she decided to stay in town for a few more days (or until he noticed her). After a particularly enthusiastic first approach, receiving a wary and distracted response, she began a plot to get the soon-to-be sheriff to return her affection. After hounding him for an extended period, he eventually agreed to a date, where he was enamored by her many tales of travel and various escapades during her journey. After continuing to see each other the two quickly realized it was more than simple affection, and Sawyer asked her to come meet his family. A fateful night, Sawyer introduced his father, town alchemist and recluse, and his mother, who was not known to much of the town, seldom leaving the house. After receiving his parents' blessing, Sawyer knelt to propose just as the full moon rose in the sky. His mother transformed, revealing her true form and began rampaging in the house, biting Flora and evading Sawyer and Alexander's attempts to stop her, before escaping through the windows into the night. Sawyer and his father quickly administered the special concoction that keeps his own transformations at bay, but Flora was forever altered by the events of that night. Even after the disaster that was the attempted proposal, Flora accepted immediately upon waking, much to Sawyer and his father's surprise and relief. Learning to control her newfound abilities, and managing being engaged to the newly appointed town Fern, Flora has settled nicely into a motherly role for the town of Walla. After her fiancé decided to embark on one more adventure before settling into the slow life of a small town Fern, she has been acting as deputy until his return.
