The Fae

The Fae are a robust and diverse species, imbued with powerful and strange magic. Having made a pact with the Okun to leave the surface, the Fae reside in four different courts within Tassuru: The Spring Court, The Summer Court, The Autumn Court, and the Winter Court. Their respective courts define the element they're most associated with, i.e. Spring is wind, Summer is fire, Autumn is earth, and Winter is water. A Fae of the spring can appear as smoke and mist, a Fae of the Summer can appear as flames and molten rock given form, and so on. They can take a more humanoid form, where their skin merely matches the element they are made of (i.e. wind is pale white, fire is deep red, earth is dark green, and water is light blue). The Fae each have a monarch that represents them in the Court of the State, but mostly keep to themselves and rarely interact with the humans of Tassuru.
