Nice article! The siege is quite interesting in that they managed to hold out that long. Advanced magic sure can come in handy :p I still wonder why the son was different though. Or was that only the idea of the mad queen? Small note here ' when it came time ' I think you meant 'when it became time' :)

Thanks for the comment! The truth behind the son is in fact the central point to the novel im writing in this world. This was a fun time to do some foreshadowing. Appreciate the writing comment, the 'wonders' of slang being so close to the actual phrase :D
