The Idealists

The Idealists ( Also known as the The Rise of Light) are a cult group full of a variety of Supernatural races who believed of a world where Supernaturals are superior and Outsiders should be eliminated. The group is led by Farris Barton and the group have different branches around the world in many supernatural towns and the Supernatural society. The Idealists get their followers from public places where there are huge supernatural such as schools, colleges, churches, and etc. The Idealists at first build the image as a “safe haven” to entice many people as possible. Many recruiters often targeted Supernatural college students and young adults as it is easier to bend their will and recruit them for their cause. The group often hold seminars and lectures that usually their leader, Farris Barton would speak to curious newcomers who come to learn about the group. Farris gives the newcomers a sense of comfort which makes it easier to twist their mind to teach them hateful views about Outsiders. Once the newcomers take an oath to be members of the Idealists for life, they are able to be loyal to Farris and have to be willing to take all orders. If the members have children, Farris considered them to be automatic members of the group since it helps to build the membership and keep the group alive. Many of the Idealists members are also secretly involved in many influential industries inside both Supernatural/ Outsiders’ societies. These members could be in high government, news/media, educational, and business positions to either get new members or manipulate Outsiders into fear.   The Idealists history goes way back into 1790 where many Supernaturals were frustrated of how outsiders of the Town Clare Point View were getting more resources as the current mayor of Roseland wanted to build better relations with Outsiders but neglected the Supernaturals in the Town of Roseland where they ended up struggling to fix their town. Farris saw these frustrated supernaturals and meet with every one of them personally claiming he will help him lead to a better life. Knowing full well that Farris could not be mayor of Roseland again, Farris decided to make formal meetings where he often talks about his ideologies of how the Supernaturals shouldn’t be slaves to the outsiders and Supernaturals should rise up to take their rightful place as superiors of the Earth. Many Supernaturals loved his ideas and made them believe that Farris’s ideas are the way of life. More meetings led to the group, Idealists being formed and the first branch was in Roseland. Farris didn’t stop there as much he wanted to spread his message far wide as he went to travel around the different Supernatural towns all over the country and the world over the years. His cult grew more over the years with many devoted followers supporting the belief of Supernaturals being the superior race. This movement was not ignored by the Supernaturals towns as many of town government officials disagreed with this.   However, the Idealists started off with humble beginnings as they often helped the Supernaturals towns get whatever resources that the main government wouldn’t give them. The members often did community work in their own Supernatural communities to stay on good graces of Supernatural town leaders. In Faris’s mind, he believed in gaining the trust of the people so they could get away with whatever “illegal” things in order for the Idealists’ to achieve their goals. Soon, the kindness of the Supernatural towns ended when several Idealists members were caught murdering several important outsider politicians who visited Roseland and almost started a bloody riot in the City of Clare Point View. This put Supernaturals on the map where the government decided to deemed the entire race as dangerous due to the group. As a result, Supernaturals political leaders from around the world and country put the Idealists group and Farris Barton’s on the wanted list. So over the course of the years, authorities from both the Supernatural and Outsiders side capture the Idealists members to put them in jail or execute them. The Idealists ended up doing their operations underground and keeping quiet as they slowly regain their influence in the background.   As in the the series, they are known under a different name called "The Rise of Light" to avoid detection by the both Supernatural and Outsider government as the group function an a non-profit organization.
