Special abilities

Nick’s negation powers are activated whenever Nick needs them. If any Supernatural near the close proximity near him or he touches them, their powers get negated leaving them defenseless. Therefore, a Supernatural who has poor hand to hand combat can easily be defeated by Nick since he is skilled in self-defense. The amount of time a Supernatural’s power is negated usually up to five to ten minutes temporary. However, there are downsides to Nick’s powers such as: needing to concentrate when using his powers, his powers only works when the person is in his proximity range, and negation may not work on certain Supernatural races. The biggest downsides is that Nick has a weak aura reading ability and if he is injured, healing powers would not work on him since it would cancel out.

Personal history

Nicholas was raised in Roseland with working class parents who have Supernatural powers different from himself. Nicholas's life is pretty normal other than dealing with the weird incidents that comes with living in a Supernatural Town. He did not have any huge career aspirations as a child and simply dabbled in many hobbies throughout the years. This lack of direction often made him depressed often as he often tries to find reasons for living and often felt like he was a spectator of life. Nicholas often flirted with the idea of suicide and have suicidal intentions, despite having variety of friends from different social cliques. One of his closest friends was a jock and wealthy socialite named, Joseph “Joey” William who was one of the protagonists from the Roseland Chronicles series whom he had a crush on in the past since middle school. He was often known as Joey’s school “bodyguards” and got off assisting Joey being his right hand man, forcing others into fake friendships with Joey. Once Joey and him grew out of bullying, Nick decided he wanted to redeem himself by trying to help others who were in need. Nick and Joey continued to remain friends and by extension, he was also friends with Joey’s new friends who they still keep in touch to this very day.
In high school, Nicholas was semi-popular as he was one of the writers the school newspaper. He also was very involved in a garage band with other Roseland high school students as he has an affinity towards music as a bassist and a guitarist. After high school, Nicholas broke up with his high school girlfriend and left his former band as he decided to go to Southern Berrywood University to double major in finance and business to get into a “safe career” in hopes to find happiness in his life. However, he had to drop out of University due to the werewolf conflict around the campus, whom many of the students were forced to take sides or drop out of school. Nick was nearly failing college and going into severe depression. Nick ended up traveling to City Square to take up a job at nightclub during the conflict as a bouncer. There the club was often attacked by werewolves and vampires since the city had a problem with gangs. This is where Nick met his partner, Luca Haley who was at the time, second in command of the werewolf pack, “ The Stray Canines”. Based on all the events that happened to him during his days as a student at Roseland High, he knew how to deal with werewolves and vampire attacks often. The two of them had a rough start when meeting each other then eventually became lovers. After the conflict, Nicholas once again up became direction less as he was no longer had an interest in continuing his double majors once SBU reopened after the conflict. Wanting to take his mind off the loss of many of his old college classmates, Nick decided to take up his interest in music again on the side and found employment at an office in Full Moon Entertainment, Inc.
His enlistment in the The Hexes came from when he met Amelia at a park when she saw him playing the guitar. After seeing his performance, Amelia begged him to join her band and wouldn’t stop asking since she often came by his cubicle at work. Nick finally took her offer and auditioned for The Hexes where he was recruited as the guitarist of the band. He was also considered the leaders of The Hexes due that his negation powers might come in handy with keeping his band mates in line.
