Roseland
History
Roseland is a small suburb town where the only residents are Supernatural who live away from Outsiders. There was a time where non-supernatural people did live in the same town as the supernatural people until Roseland’s 8th mayor, Fionn Maccolla made a diplomatic decision to split the Outsider portion of the town away from the Supernaturals. Today, the Outsider portion of the town is now called, Clare Point View which is Roseland’s Outsider Anchor Town. It wasn’t until 1985, the town council made a decision to completely ban all Outsiders living and traveling into the town due to rising tensions between the races and the extremist group called The Idealists. Since then, no Outsider is allowed in the town as this action spread to many other Supernatural Towns in other Supernatural Sectors. This action was also supported by the Outsider government to keep their citizens safe from Supernaturals. In addition to the ban, the town had created a magical barrier shield around the town to prevent Outsiders from seeing the town and getting into it. Roseland and other Supernatural Towns have removed the map to discourage thrill-seekers and travelers to go looking for the Supernatural towns and cities. Only those who have Supernatural powers were the only ones that can see the Supernatural Towns within the barrier. They are also the only ones allowed to get and out of Roseland and other Supernatural Towns. Throughout the years, Roseland didn’t have a great history with inter-supernatural races considering they often barred the vampires and werewolves to the forest near the town. However, inter-supernatural relations with those two races are slowly changing due to a combination of education and discussions on how to peacefully coexist among them.Geography
Roseland is nestled near a man-made mountain where is a tunnel within the mountain served as an underground highway to Clare Point View until 1985 where it ended up being closed to Outsiders. The town is also near a large evergreen forest where inhabited Vampires and Werewolves live. There is also another highway away from the mountain close to the end of a town line where it leads to the Supernatural city, Downland where a lot of the residents work in the city.
Within the town, there are farmlands for agriculture, small businesses around the town square, and neighborhoods with a range of different houses: mansion-style, typical family homes, and condominiums. The town only has a couple of elementary schools, a middle school, and a high school where many of the residents’ children attend school.
