Grand Defender of The Realm

Wield an axe, throw a hammer, sling some spells it does not matter you too can become the Defender of the Realm. Citizen or Neighbor all are welcome to reach for the top. When all was lost and the Kingdom of Faeble seemed to be broken and conquered a mighty hero appeared and stormed the battle field and pushed back the invaders all by themselves. A champion who wields this title is a beacon to all citizens of the Kingdom of Faeble. Given a life of luxury in exchange for complete servitude to the Monarch and the people. It is a title respected by all and coveted by even more. The one who wears this title is someone truly selfless and guided by a strong moral compass.

Qualifications

In order to attain this title there are requirements that must be met:

1. Act courageously in a time of great uncertainty.
2. Live a life of high morality and ethics.
3. Show worth on and off the battle field.
4. Exemplify a way of life that is encouraging and righteous to people of all walks of life.
5. Cannot discriminate races.

Appointment

The recipient of this award is granted this title by the current Monarch of Faeble. It is an honorary title given to a warrior and commander who has shown great promise and potential of aiding the Kingdom. After the recipient is accepted by both the Noble and Plebeian Councils a ceremony is held in their honor.

Duties

In regards of the Defender of the Realm Title if one accepts this position the following responsibilities are associated and required:

1. Defend the Realm against internal and external threats.
2. Visit and meet with representatives of both the Noble and Plebeian Councils to discuss matters of the Realm of Faeble.
3. Willing to become the Symbol of Hope and Safety to the citizens of Faeble.
4. Travel around the Kingdom and appearing at social events such as Universities, Hospitals, and so on.
5. Be willing to put the Realm before yourself. This is including but not limited to forfeiting your life for the sake of the Kingdom.

Responsibilities

A DoTR has the responsibilities of keeping the moral of the Kingdom high. They are a beacon of hope and a symbol of admiration. This could be helping raise money for civil projects, saving a cat in a tree, to organizing military offense/defense.

Benefits

The DoTR receives permeant housing and paid handsomely for their work. They are treated by only the best healers and holy followers of the Gods. In addition, they receive the benefit of the knowledge of the Realm. If honorably dismissed the DoTR will also receive a pension for the remainder of their life.

Accoutrements & Equipment

The DoTR uniform will be provided. This will be sized and fitted to the DoTR specifications and customizations are allowed to a certain point.

Grounds for Removal/Dismissal

1. Under the grounds that the current DoTR contributes to a or by-stands during an illegal offense they will be stripped of this title.
2. If the DoTR becomes unable to fight in combat they will respectfully be forced to resign from the position.
3. If the DoTR does not live up to the ethics code of Faeble they will be dismissed.

There can be an Honorable Dismissal or a Dishonorable Dismissal. For example if a DoTR gets injured in battle and can no longer fight to serve the Monarch they will be Honorably dismissed. If by chance a DoTR becomes corrupt and uses their power for greed or malicious intents they will be dishonorably dismissed and possibly suffer further punishment.
