As a deava Leo does have access to some of their abilities though he never uses them citing that gentlemen do not need to charm people. He instead relies on his sorcery to aid him. He is skilled in some life domain spells but, he is not as good as his other counterparts

Personal history
Leo and Eliza were born servants to the noble houses of Invictus and Leo never cared being a servant but, it was something he was quite good at. he proved himself a capable butler in the hands of other Invictus families. He soon found himself working for Ivan Croswell the head of the whole organization. Leo always feared Ivan for the obvious reason, Ivan was powerful and if he was displeased then you didn't live to see the next day.
Unlike his sister Leo never read to much into his masters ideals and ideology. He simply didn't want to be a butler but, when his sister told him she had a way to get both of them off servant duty he accepted. The two would serve Elizabeth when she entered the stage. Elizabeth was an elegant vampire from the house Tepes. She was quite a lovely woman and Leo tended to her needs from time to time. She taught Leo basic healing and medicine as well as basic life domain skills. It was a shock to him that after she gave birth to her daughter Victoria that Ivan wanted her gone.
Leo would advocate for his mistresses life and over the next couple of years his opinion was kept in consideration but, after the pestering of his sister and two daughters later, Ivan agreed to Murder his wife. Leo was tasked with Keeping Victoria and her cousins safe.
After the murder and fire for the next month Leo would actually be haunted by the apparition of his dead mistress, angry at his betrayal. It wasn't until a woman in town gave him a charm that he finally got a good nights rest.
Ivan would send Leo and his sister to the Americas to take care of Victoria and the house there. He would take on the task with diligence. The one thing he didn't count on was feelings rising for another member of the house Charlotte. It was because of his relationship with her that he started to second guess his place at Ivan's side and even tried to get his sister to reconsider but, she didn't. Leo would lose his sister when the rest of the party came back to the mansion and kill Eliza in self defense. Wracked with guilt he originally intended to end it all but, Charlotte gave him a reason to live. He resolved to live for her even if it meant serving his time as a servant to house croswell.
When Ciel was posessed and left the House Leo left to bring him back. This lead to him getting captured and put in prison. when the group went to the prison they didn't find him leaving him to break out in the commotion the group caused.
After the events of July 4th Leo proposed to Charlotte and the two were married. They stayed on at the academy as teachers to help prepare young supernaturals. They would later have a child together named Theodore. Working at the academy Leo took on the role of Victoria's enforcer as well as a professor of music.
